McNaughton & Gunn
receives recognition for environmentally friendly practices…

    FSC Certification,
       pollution prevention,
     water quality protection,
     decreased landfill waste ...

At McNaughton & Gunn, we pride ourselves on the fact that we are an environmentally conscious book printing operation. In ten years' time, while our company experienced 40% growth, we were also successful in decreasing our landfill waste from 1,660 cubic yards to 120 cubic yards. Much of our success can be attributed to widespread team member participation in waste reduction, and the support of McNaughton & Gunn team leaders.
As a result of our genuine commitment to environmental issues, McNaughton & Gunn has been repeatedly recognized for environmentally sound business practices. The honors received are based on initiatives in the areas of waste reduction, recycling, water quality protection and pollution prevention.

In 2007,  McNaughton & Gunn achieved FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody Certification. Books printed on FSC certified paper are eligible to carry the FSC logo (shown below), which is used to identify products coming from well-managed forests. McNaughton and Gunn's offers a variety of both  white and natural papers that are FSC Certified. And the good news is, clients do not pay a premium for the paper.

In addition, our 10 pt and 12 pt house cover stock is also FSC Certified. Contact a sales or account representative to find out more.
